09:22 pm - A few important things....

...By the way, I was actually bored enough to look up all the schools I've ever attended to add to the little "schools" blurb in my info. Yes, I'm a LJ-whore when I'm killing time. So sue me.

chain rule:

f'(x) = f'(g(x)) x g'(x)

eg: d/dx of sin (x^2) = (cos (x^2)) x (2x)

You can (and will be asked) to do things like this with f(g(h(j(x)))), among others.

And of you want to know unspeakable screeching horror, rotate the area between two curves around a line other than the x or y axis and tell me the volume of the resulting solid of revolution.

*cackles insanely*

Huh. Right. Hi Nathan.

*moron* I definitely forgot your new username within 3 hours of adding you. Needless to say, seeing your comments this morning startled me considerably.

That was a pointless comment.

Yup.

Yes, the thing I described invovles adding up lots of little disks. Keep "substituting the equation for r in (pi x r^2)" in the back of your mind somewhere and you'll look smart toawards the end of the year.

X.X This sounds scarily like plane geometry. Which is not a favorite of mine. But then, nothing math-related really is. Meh. Can I steal your brain for calc?

It's interesting how little being legal actually changes lol. And the outside world, what can I say? There are new challenges, and lots of fine opportunities to make new and exciting mistakes. oh and squirrels, there are alot more dquirrles. *cringes*
